It was just mesmerizing just reading your words about the beautiful Dior gowns. Thank you so much for sharing Natasha.
It must have been to die for to actually feel a Dior gown plus the inside it as well! How captivating. Keep writing Natasha maybe the second book would be great the gowns that didn't make it to the 65 list.
Thank you very much, once again Natasha. Your writing is so descriptive and beautifully created that I love immersing myself into your space- for just a little while.
Thank you THANK you for re-publishing your notes about the 65 dresses. I didn't sign up for your emails until after I had read the book. I know have to share this with my daughter. I got her addicted to your books too.
Hi, Natasha, I’ve been wanting to send this link to you since I read about the Théàtre de la Mode in your book. It rang a bell. Years ago I visited the Maryhill Museum in Goldendale, Washington ( the state in the US). They have the collection of the dolls in their dresses. Their website has several videos of the dolls posed out in the woods. Charming!
Look for the link to the Théàtre de la Mode. The videos are linked there. ( Sorry, I’m not good at copying links on my phone, and didn’t want to forget to send this to you. I know you’ll enjoy seeing the videos. )
As I was watching the video about the Theatre de la Mode, it rang a bell, but I couldn't figure out why. It's mentioned in The Disappearance of Astrid Bricard, isn't it?

Yes, maybe they will make it into another book one day. I have so many photographs it seems a shame not to put them to good use!

You're so lovely, Teina - thank you for your very kind words.
Found it very interesting reading about the gowns -especially the ones you got to see close up
It was such a wonderful experience. One I'll never forget.
I hope you feel better soon Natasha.
Thank you! I'm basically fine now; I really was very lucky and it was very short-lived.

So glad you enjoyed looking at the pics and reading the piece.
This edition was a visual treat - so many gorgeous dresses. Loved learning a new fact about Christian Dior's sister too!
Sometimes it's nice just to look at pretty dresses, isn't it?!
Hugs on the Covid and thanks for the dresses!

I really wanted to go to that museum when I was writing the book! Alas, COVID travel bans scotched those plans. I still hope to get to it one day.

Yes, it's mentioned in Astrid Bricard!
Is this the link you meant? It took a while to find it on the website for the Maryhill Museum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxBFwqRbI8c That was about the dolls, and if that link does work, try this link (copy/paste) to the museum, go down and you'll find more info. https://www.maryhillmuseum.org/inside/exhibitions/permanent-exhibitions/theatre-de-la-mode
